This morning we headed over to Colwyn Bay to shoot some footage for the Forestry School promotional video.
It was a great day, having this experience gave us as a team more of a feel about the up-coming business plan and what it was all about. Many interesting things took place for example, exploring and getting to develop/use some outdoor skills. This included learning how to make a fire and using the fire to cook food. Greg, the guy who run’s the organisation who is a youth worker, told us about the experiences the young people have when visiting the forest and how they enjoy it. They take part in activities such as building dens. Greg hopes to introduce an obstacle course and many other things to the project before it’s up and running.
Filming was also fun, we were fortunate to have arrived on a nice, rather warm day.
At the end of our visit we got to put out the fire together…….
This afternoon I continued to work on the Woodland track by mastering the sound. The music piece should be ready for next week. I want to make a few more adjustments since visiting the woodland before it’s ready.
