Electro Pop Performance Video for Future Perfect!
Filmed in the main hall at Cwmni’r Franwen, this pop promo used a minimal set with 4 small moving lights and smoke effects to create an effective live looking performance video for Future Perfect that they were extremely pleased. They’ve since requested working with Nicola on their next promo video.
Nicola used the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera with an SLR Magic Prime lens to shoot the video, primarily mounted on tripod. She also employed a focus pulling lever to attain some of the ‘pull focus’ shots in the video.
She concentrated on framing the band so that the background of the location we were shooting in was not visible in the video – this was further improved with careful editing and colour corrections to ensure the video appeared as visually effective as possible.
The edit in Final Cut Pro X was an 8 camera Multicam edit – the video was shot 8 times with two cameras plus cut aways.
Nicola carefully trimmed and cut the footage to produce an extremely effective pop promo that the band were extremely happy with.
