Classic 2D Platformer with a Greek Theme!
After initial experiments with the Unity3D tools, Ben decided he wanted to begin development of a 2D Platform Game inspired by his interest in Greek History and Mythology.
He explored a range of different tools and techniques as well as having a session with concept artist Collette Ellis.
After working up his initial character and object concept art sketches into vector based images in Affinity Design, Ben learned to slice and export all his elements to build an animatable 2D character within Unity3D.
Building and animating his character required use of many different tools and concepts within Unity3D. These included Javascript programming, Animation & Keyframing Tools, State Machines, Physics Systems and even Particles!
