Stiwdio Franwen is a radical new approach to education and learning that works with young people aged from 16-24, intensively training them in current industry standards of digital media production and then bringing in real clients from the creative arts industries, with real jobs for them to deliver.
During the first Stiwdio Franwen project in 2014, 5 young people aged 16-18 took on the roles of Film-maker, Graphic & Web Designer, Motion Graphics, 3D Developer and Composer.
This team of 5 delivered 25 unique projects for 12 different clients over a 35 day period which included learning to use the software & tools.
Most of these productions have been used publicly by the clients, all of whom were both surprised and grateful for the quality of the work.
The 2014 clients included ZipWorld & Bounce Below, Pontio, Galeri, Baracaws and Swn Studios.
The jobs ranged from graphic designs of logos, pull-up banners and posters, promotional videos and interactive 3D models & games, websites and theatre projections!
Stiwdio Franwen 2015 is beginning this February and is looking for new potential clients.
We are looking for clients who need new websites, logos, videos, posters, business cards, banners, animations, apps, games, 3D models and more.
We are open to suggestions of any type of digital media project or production – anything considered.

There is no fee for the work. All we ask is that you make the time to meet with the team at the start of the production, a mid point review meeting where you give honest critical feedback and a final presentation of the work when it’s complete.
Any monetary, facility or service contributions are welcomed (i.e. free tickets from a theatre, free recording space from a studio, free food, etc.).
