An Overview of how the Arts are used in Gwynedd!
Brief :Compile a short film documenting several unique ways in which creative art plays a role in Gwynedd.
Stiwdio Franwen was commissioned by Gwynedd Creadigol to produce a short over view of 4 separate Creative Arts projects.
The Team went to meet them at one of their meetings on the Glynllyfon Estate, near Caernarfon. The team all impressively introduced themselves, their role in the studio and presented some of the work produced so far.
Gwawr from Gwynedd Creadigol then outlined their requirements and the Team regrouped to discuss the project.
The first project to be filmed was “Giving Voice”, a group setup to work with stroke victims and aid in their rehabilitation through art and painting. The second was Stuwdio Franwen itself. The Third was Codi’r To, a new music based project working in schools in Gwynedd to teach young children about different types of music and get them working together to play and perform to an audience. Fourth was Cofi’s Bach, the Caernarforn based After School Club working with a range of ages across numerous art forms.
As we’d already produced films for Cofi’s Bach, and Stiwdio Franwen, this meant we only had 2 films to make.
Tommy went to film a presentation day at Eryri Hospital, Caernarfon where he met and filmed the patents from the stoke unit who were exhibiting and talking about their artwork.
Josh & Tom went to Ysgol Glan Cegyn to film and record the Codi’r To concert with a 3 camera shoot.
